About the Artist

Creativity and Connection
Leads to Hope and Wonder
Jessica Lane is a Missouri-based artist whose work bridges the emotional and elemental, offering
a tactile dialogue between human experience and the natural world. Rooted in the expressive
power of painting and sculpture, Lane uses natural materials—like willow, stone, and earth—to
give form to unseen emotions and internal landscapes.
Her creative journey began in the wooded hills of southeastern Minnesota and later evolved through
studies in furniture restoration, upholstery, and interior design. Since returning to fine art in 2019,
her work has been featured in exhibitions across the Midwest, including the Albrecht-Kemper Museum,
Kansas City Artists Coalition, and Columbia Art League’s Art in the Park.
Drawing from nature’s textures and her own intuitive process, Lane creates pieces that invite stillness, wonder, and connection.
Her work has been recognized in Fibre Arts Take Two, Artistonish, and Red Dot Blog as “a message of love and liberation.”
